Valve’s hit mashup-MOBA, Deadlock, has officially expanded to a 38-hero roster following its massive 2026 update, which introduced six community-voted “magicpunk” characters to the Manhattan-based battlefield. Despite being in an active state of renovation—including recent overhauls to bases and patrons in the “Old Gods, New Blood” update—the game remains a dominant force on Steam, even without a formal launch or official website.
Understanding the Deadlock Roster
Because Deadlock is currently a work-in-progress, the game’s meta and character designs are subject to frequent shifts. Valve is continuously refining balance, making it essential to keep an eye on how these heroes evolve. Below is the full list of the 38 available heroes currently fighting for control on the island.
