Lamborghini officially shattered its performance records at Monterey Car Week with the debut of the Fenomeno, a plug-in hybrid hypercar that stands as both the most powerful V12 machine the automaker has ever engineered and its fastest production vehicle to date.
Performance Specs: A New Hybrid Benchmark
Part of Lamborghini’s exclusive “Few Off” collection—joining icons like the Sián and Countach—the Fenomeno carries a staggering price tag of $3.5 million. Under the hood, a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine works in tandem with three electric motors to deliver a blistering 1,080cv (approximately 1,065hp). This output comfortably eclipses the 1,015cv produced by the Revuelto, signaling a significant leap in the brand’s hybrid capabilities.

The Fenomeno achieves a record-breaking power-to-weight ratio of 1.64kg/cv. It hits 100 kph (62 mph) in just 2.4 seconds, shaving a tenth of a second off the Revuelto’s time, and boasts a top speed exceeding 350 kph (218 mph). Torque remains consistent with the Revuelto at 725 Newton-meters at 6,750 rpm.
Engineering and Design Evolution
Power delivery is bolstered by a unique 7kWh battery—an upgrade from the 3.8kWh unit found in the Revuelto—providing an electric-only range of 20 km (12.4 miles). The vehicle features a full carbon-fiber monocoque and exterior, paired with high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes. It sits on 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.

Stylistically, the Fenomeno is more aggressive than its predecessors. It incorporates race-derived air intakes from the Huracán GT3 and a silhouette inspired by the track-only Essenza. The name itself pays homage to a legendary Mexican bull from 2002, chosen to represent the car’s “phenomenal” and unique status.
The Future of Lamborghini Electrification
Lamborghini will limit production to just 29 units, plus one reserved for the company’s own collection. While the Fenomeno serves as a “design manifesto” for the brand’s future aesthetic, the timeline for a fully electric Lamborghini remains fluid. The automaker previously aimed to launch an EV version of the Lanzador concept by 2028, but that timeline has been pushed to 2029, and plans for an all-electric Urus have been sidelined in favor of a plug-in hybrid performance variant.
